Something new!
Hi friends,
The National Milk Bank is trying something new and adding a blog to our page. We are a little new at this, so be kind! We would love to hear from our clients or friends about what is going on with you and your babies in the area of nursing or donating your milk. Check out our new estore. We have started with a small but cool line of shirts. Feedback is welcome.

I was a successful donor, we donated 369.6 ounces of our milk in 4 Months. It was a pleasure working with Kim and Stacey they were great. The milk bank has helped so many babies and i was glad i was a part of that. Thanks Again.

Thanks for the chance to donate. I sent in almost 1500 ounces in 6 months. I thought this was a great experience, though I wish this site would have explained more about milk donation process, funding, and costs for families. I would like to see more about that on the website.

I had an overabundance of milk with my first child, so I decided to see if I could donate milk after the birth of my second daughter. In April 2009, I donated 1,040 ounces of milk that I had stored up, and I couldn’t be happier about it. My daughter still gets all she needs, and I get warm fuzzies knowing that I am helping other children get what they need. What an awesome feeling!

I donated breastmilk for 13 months in 2007-2008. I am so proud for what I did. Now, I just gave birth in October another baby girl, and I’m going to need to donate again!
